Cardholder Accounts
A smart and convenient way for you to save $$$.
An average dining commons meal costs less, offers unlimited portions, and has more variety than a meal you might buy elsewhere.
Dining with fellow students provides the opportunity to meet others and leaves students with more time for studying and socializing rather than meal preparation and clean up. (Students living on campus are contractually obligated to have a meal plan.)
PointCASH
PointCASH is the convenient, cashless way to pay on and off campus. PointCASH is a prepaid, stored-value account that's part of your PointCard. You'll use it for whatever you need at PointCASH locations. PointCASH actually makes your dollar worth more, with discounts available to you only when you use PointCASH.
Food Dollars
Food Dollars accompany the standard meal plans and the Food Dollars Plan. Each Food Dollar is worth one dollar and can be used anytime during the semester. You may use Food Dollars to purchase food at DeBot, the DUC, and the Food for Thought Café in the library without paying sales tax. Food Dollars do not carry over from one semester to the next and will not be refunded.
Meal Counts
Dining with fellow students provides you the opportunity to meet others. Dining on campus also provides you with more time for studying and socializing rather than meal preparation and clean up. You will be contractually obligated to have a meal plan if you live in a residence hall other than South Hall. For standard plan users, meal counts are the number of meals you will be allowed to eat per week. Weekly meal counts are reset before Sunday breakfast and must be used by dinner on Saturday. Unused meal counts are not refundable.
Off-Campus Meal Plan
Students who reside in South Hall, or live off-campus, may choose this plan. The cost is $292 and provides participants with 50 all-you-care-to-eat meals, served in DeBot Dining Center, as well as the Pointer Plate in the DUC Food Court and DeBot C-Store. You may also use your meals as a $4.25 meal cash equivalency or to purchase other food items in the DeBot C-Store and Grill and the DUC Food Court. Cancellation requests must be received by week 8 of the semester. Meals expire at the end of the semester.
